Accessibility Statement
Exceptional care should reach everyone. That means an accessible clinic and an accessible website, and it means hearing about it when we fall short.
Our Commitment to Accessibility
SKYE Physiotherapy is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of ability, can access our services and navigate our digital presence with ease. We recognize that accessibility is not a feature—it's a fundamental aspect of providing equitable, person-centered care.
We are actively working to meet and exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards for our website. This commitment extends to our clinical environment, where we strive to remove barriers to care and ensure every client feels welcomed and supported.
Our accessibility efforts include:
- Keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility
- Clear, readable typography and sufficient color contrast
- Alternative text for all images and media
- Accessible interactive elements with visible focus states
- Responsive design for all device sizes
- Physical accessibility accommodations at our clinic
- Communication support options (written materials, verbal explanations)

Standards
We aim to comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Three areas are known not to meet that standard yet: the third-party IntakeQ booking widget, embedded YouTube videos, and some older downloadable PDFs that are not tagged for screen readers. If any of these blocks you, call and we will take your booking or read you the content directly.
