Terms of Service
The everyday terms for using this site and booking care here, set out plainly.
Effective date: September 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By using skyephysiotherapy.com (the "Site"), including our online booking and contact tools, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Not medical advice
Content on the Site, including articles, condition guides, exercise videos, FAQs, the glossary and clinical evidence summaries, is provided for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, does not create a provider-patient relationship, and is not a substitute for an in-person evaluation by a licensed clinician who knows your history. Do not begin, change, or stop any treatment or exercise based solely on Site content. Stop any exercise that causes sharp pain, numbness, dizziness, or symptoms that worsen, and seek care. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911. A provider-patient relationship with SKYE Physiotherapy begins only when you are evaluated at an appointment.
3. Appointments cancellations and payment
Appointments may be requested through our online scheduling tool provided by IntakeQ, by phone, or by email. A request is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from us. Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to a fee; the current amount is provided in your intake paperwork and confirmed at the time of booking. SKYE Physiotherapy is an out-of-network practice and payment is due at the time of service. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. If your plan has out-of-network physical therapy benefits we will file the claim for you through Reimbursify, or provide an itemized superbill on request so you can file it yourself; reimbursement is determined by your plan and is not guaranteed. No referral is required to see a physical therapist in Maryland under the state direct-access law, though some insurers may still require one. We are not a participating provider with all insurance plans; please contact us to discuss your coverage.
4. Your use of the Site
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping content for commercial use, or submitting false, harassing, or unlawful content through the booking tool or by email.
5. Intellectual property
The text, videos, images, graphics, and logos on the Site are owned by or licensed to SKYE Physiotherapy and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use, including reproduction, redistribution, or use to train automated systems, requires our prior written permission.
6. Third-party services and links
The Site uses third-party services including IntakeQ scheduling, Google Analytics and Google Ads, embedded YouTube videos, and Google Maps, and may link to external websites. These are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Testimonials and results
Reviews and testimonials reflect individual experiences. Results vary from person to person, and no outcome is guaranteed.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKYE Physiotherapy disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, and fitness for a particular purpose, and does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKYE Physiotherapy and its owner and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for professional services rendered in the clinic, which are governed by the agreements you sign as a patient.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Howard County, Maryland.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
